Priestlands School is a mixed academy school in Pennington, Hampshire in southern England. The school serves an area that includes the villages of Hordle, Sway, Hampshire and South Baddesley, and the town of Lymington. Previously a specialist arts college, in August 2011 the school converted to academy status.[1] A 2008 Ofsted inspection assessed the school with Grade 1 (outstanding).[2]
Eco-Schools
The school achieved Eco-Schools silver.[3]
World record attempt
In 2012 the school set the world record for most people standing on one leg for two minutes with 892 people.[4]
Walled Garden
A student group called "The Eco-Warriors" has restored an 18th-century walled garden in the grounds with pigs, bees, and chickens.[5]
