The 2013 League of Ireland is the 93rd season of the League of Ireland, the highest football league of the Republic of Ireland. The league began on 8 March.[1]
St Patrick's Athletic clinched their 8th Premier Division title on 13 October 2013 after a 2–0 win against holders Sligo Rovers.[2][3][4]

After Cobh Ramblers were awarded a licence by the FAI Licensing Committee on 24 January, the 2013 division will comprise eight teams. Fixtures will be released on 25 January, with the licenising process complete by mid-February.[16]
