1P-LSD or 1-propionyl-lysergic acid diethylamide is a psychedelic drug of the lysergamide class that is an analog of LSD and homolog of ALD-52 and has been sold online as a designer drug.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
While 1P-LSD shows only 38% the potency of LSD in mice, LSD is detected via LC-MS when 1P-LSD is incubated in human serum,[7] meaning 1P-LSD not only acts as a prodrug for LSD, but is also a directly acting serotonin receptor agonist in its own right.[8][9]
Legal Status
1P-LSD is illegal in Denmark,[10] Sweden[11][12] and Switzerland.[13]
