Pontelatone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Caserta in the Italian region Campania, located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) north of Naples and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) northwest of Caserta. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,847 and an area of 30.4 square kilometres (11.7 sq mi).[1] The località Treglia (also spelled Tregghia), within the confines of the comune of Pontelatone, is the site of ancient city of Trebula.
