Macquarie University railway station is located on the Chatswood to Epping line, serving the Sydney suburb of Macquarie Park including the nearby Macquarie University and Macquarie Centre. It is served by Sydney Trains T1 Northern services.
History
Macquarie University station opened on 23 February 2009 on the same date as the Chatswood to Epping line.[1][2]
In 2018, Macquarie University station will close for six months for conversion to a Sydney Metro station on the Sydney Metro Northwest line, which will include the installation of platform screen doors.[3]
