El Comandante, is an upcoming American television series created by Sony Pictures Television.[1] It is based on the life of Venezuelan President now deceased, Hugo Rafael Chávez Friaz.[2] A total of 60 episodes have been confirmed so far.[2] The series will be starring Andrés Parra as El Comandante.[3]The series will be broadcast by Telemundo,[4] it is estimated that the series is released in early 2017.[4]
Production
The series is produced by Andrea Marulanda and Luis Eduardo Jiménez as executive producers,[5] series production is scheduled for the summer of 2016.[5]
