Batu is a federal constituency in the Federal Territories, Malaysia, that has been represented in the Dewan Rakyat from 1959 to 1974, from 1986 to present.
The federal constituency was created in the 1958 redistribution and is mandated to return a single member to the Dewan Rakyat under the first past the post voting system.
History
It was abolished in 1974 after it was redistributed. It was re-created in 1984.
2004–present: The constituency contains the polling districts of Kampong Selayang Lama, Taman Wahyu, Pekan Batu, Taman Batu Muda, Changkat, Batu Muda, Kampong Padang Balang, Jinjang Tempatan Keduabelas, Batu Kantomen, Taman Rainbow, Sentul Pasar, Sentul Tengah, Sentul Utara, Kampong Kovil Utara, Bandar Baru Sentul, Sentul Selatan, Kampong Kovil Selatan, Kolam Ayer, Rumah Pangsa Sri Perak, Taman Intan Baiduri, Taman Beringin, Taman Million, Sentul Jaya, Taman Sri Murni, Taman Batu Permai.
