Arau is a federal constituency in Selangor, Malaysia, that has been represented in the Dewan Rakyat since 1974.
The federal constituency was created in the 1974 redistribution and is mandated to return a single member to the Dewan Rakyat under the first past the post voting system.
History
2004–present: The constituency contains the polling districts of Guar Gajah, Padang Siding, Pauh, Istana, Pekan Arau, Kubang Paya, Kubang Gajah, Jejawi, Kampung Banat, Kampong Surau, Mengkuang Layar, Tambun Tulang, Guar Sanji, Kampong Sena, Behor Mentalon, Chemumar, Serdang, Changkat Jawi, Sungai Berembang, Behor Mali, Sungai Bharu, Simpang Empat Che Kasim, Lat Seribu, Bongor Kudong, Bunga Mas, Sungai Padang, Simpang Sanglang, Padang Keria, Kuala Sanglang, Tok Pulau.
