The 2024–25 Sacramento Kings season is the 80th season for the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA), and 40th season in the city of Sacramento.[1] On December 27, 2024, the Kings fired Mike Brown. Doug Christie was named the interim head coach.[2]

The Kings had one first-round pick and one second-round picks entering the draft (which was two days long instead of one day like it previously has been since the NBA draft was shortened down to two rounds in 1989).[3][4]
