The 1980 CONCACAF Champions' Cup was the 16th edition of the annual international club football competition held in the CONCACAF region (North America, Central America and the Caribbean), the CONCACAF Champions' Cup. It determined that year's club champion of association football in the CONCACAF region and was played from 20 May 1980 till 12 February 1981.
The teams were split into 3 zones (North American, Central American and Caribbean), each one qualifying the winner to the final tournament, that was played in Tegucigalpa, Honduras under a group system. All the qualifying matches in the tournament were played under the home/away match system.
Pumas UNAM from Mexico won the final, and became for the first time CONCACAF champion in their history.
North American Zone
First Round

Central American Zone

- Santiagueño on a bye to the second round.
- Cobán Imperial wins series on draw.
- Cobán Imperial, Comunicaciones, and Marathón advances to the second round.
Second Round
- Marathón wins series, but withdrew.
- Cobán Imperial withdrew for financial reasons, Universidad advances
to the third round due to the draw in the first round vs. Cobán Imperial.
- Santiagueño advances to the third round.
Third Round
- Universidad advances to the CONCACAF - Triangular Final.
Caribbean Zone
First Round
- Jong Colombia and Defence Force reportedly entered the tournament; it is unknown whether they played any matches.
- SV Robinhood and Transvaal advance to the second round.
Second Round
- Results unknown, SV Robin Hood apparently eliminated Defence Force on this round.***
- Transvaal and Robinhood advance to the third round.
Third Round
- Results unknown, Robin Hood wins and advances to the CONCACAF - Triangular Final.***
