Blarney railway station is a proposed railway station in Blarney on the Cork Suburban Rail line in Metropolitan Cork, Ireland. The station does not yet exist. Although initially forecast to open in 2008, this was pushed back to 2015 since the recession.[citation needed]

Plans call for the station to be built on a former goods yard that is currently used by Dairygold (a dairy and agribusiness) as an agricultural goods depot. A disused station is situated adjacent to the proposed site, however, as there was not enough space on the site for car parking, a bus interchange or platform extensions, it was decided to develop a new station on the site of the goods yard.[citation needed]
