Kim Ye-rim (born March 5, 1999), also known as Yeri, is a South Korean singer. She is a member of South Korean girl group Red Velvet.

Career

Pre-debut and S.M. Rookies

She got chosen to S.M. Entertainment after she auditioned for 2011 SM Global Auditions. She was part of S.M. Entertainment's pre-debut group S.M. Rookies, along with group members Irene, Seulgi and Wendy. She also starred in Red Velvet's debut song Happiness before her debut as a member. After four year training, she joined the group with the promotions of Red Velvet's first mini album, Ice Cream Cake in March 2015.

Yeri was introduced as a new member to Red Velvet on March 10, 2015.[2]She made her first appearance with the promotions of Red Velvet's first mini-album Ice Cream Cake. From May 9, 2015 to November 14, 2015, Yeri hosted on MBC's music program, Show! Music Core with Minho from SHINee and N from VIXX.[3]

Personal Life

As of 2015, Yeri currently attends Hanlim Multi Art School.[4]
