Worst Year of My Life Again

Worst Year of My Life Again is an Australian children's television series that premiered on 26 April 2014 on ABC3. It was produced by the Australian Children’s Television Foundation (ACTF) and Reflective Pictures for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. [1] Filming for the show began on 23 April 2013 at Camberwell High School, Victoria and ended on 15 November 2013. It is also on CBBC. According to Tiarnie Coupland, funding for the show was cut and no new episodes are planned.[2]

Synopsis

When Alex King goes to bed on the eve of his 15th birthday, he's relieved that the last disastrous year is finally over. But when he wakes up, time has reset itself and he's going to have to relive the worst year of his life all over again.[3]

Cast

  • Ned Napier as Alex King, the main character that has the bad luck
  • Laurence Boxhall as Simon Birch, Alex's main best friend. He claims to be of English heritage.
  • Tiarnie Couplandas Maddy Kent, Alex's friend. She is very intelligent and spontaneous, with a bit of a bubbly side. She is trying to convince Alex that he doesn't belong with Nicola because she secretly has a crush on him.
  • Lana Golja as Nicola Grey, Alex's love interest. Blond and beautiful, she was even said to "stuff a kid in a very small backpack."
  • Xander Speight as Parker the mean one.
  • Liam Erck as Howe parkers slave.
  • Kaiting Yap as Loren Nicola's friend.
  • Jessie Blott as Amy also Nicola's friend.
  • Bellamy Duke as Hannah
  • Fergus McLaren as Toby
  • Arielle O'Neil as Samantha King
  • Annie Jones as Mum
  • Jeremy Stanford as Dad
