WWE Main Event is a professional wrestling television program produced by WWE that originally aired on Ion Television in the United States, then the WWE Network and is now broadcast on Hulu Plus. It debuted on October 3, 2012 and ended its domestic broadcasting on April 2, 2014. After the final domestic TV broadcast the show moved to an internet broadcast format. The show features lower to mid card WWE wrestlers and complements WWE's primary programs Raw and SmackDown. The show is currently on a hiatus from the WWE Network due to a conflict with British broadcaster Sky Sports's first-run syndication rights.[1] However, the show is still being taped before SmackDown tapings to fulfill international commitments and is also now airing on Hulu Plus while on hiatus from the WWE Network. Episodes are uploaded to the WWE Network 18 days after airing.

Production/presentation
The show is produced on Tuesday evenings, right before the SmackDown taping. It airs on the WWE Network live, with a slight broadcast delay.[2] WWE commentator Tom Phillips and Jerry "The King" Lawler are the broadcast team, and Greg Hamilton is the ring announcer. It uses the same HD set and the all-white ring ropes as all other WWE programming (though for the month of October, the middle rope is pink, to promote WWE and Susan G. Komen for the Cure's breast cancer awareness campaign). From October 3, 2012 to January 22, 2014, "Diamond Eyes (Boom-Lay Boom-Lay Boom)" by Shinedown served as the official theme for Main Event. Since January 29, 2014, "On My Own" by CFO$ now serves as the theme song.
