According to a Greek newspapers, Rio Ave F.C. are ready to release Portuguese winger Ukra, keeping a percentage on profit from his next transfer. AEK Athens manager Gustavo Poyet is a keen admirer of the 28-year-old international and AEK will definitely make a move for him, in the place of Platellas who is expected to leave the club in January, as he is not among Poyet's first options.[2] On 6 February 2016, Platellas rejected Polish Lech Poznań's transfer offer in January and chose to remain at the club, despite he is not a regular starter during Gustavo Poyet's managerial era. Dutch and turkish clubs were also monitoring the 28-year-old international, but they did not make an official transfer offer. [3]
