Up & Away is the debut studio album by American hip hop recording artist Kid Ink. It was released on June 12, 2012, by the independently-incorporated record label Tha Alumni Music Group. The album's production was provided by Jahlil Beats, Cardiak and Ned Cameron, among others.
Singles
The album's lead single, "Time of Your Life" was released on February 7, 2012. The song was produced by Ned Cameron.
The album's second single, "Lost in the Sauce" was produced by Jahlil Beats. It was officially released on April 26, 2012 through the iTunes.
The album's third single, "Drippin'" was released on June 13, 2012. The song was produced by KB.
The album's fourth single, "Hell & Back" was released on August 1, 2012. The song was produced by Ned Cameron (who also produced the song "Time of Your Life", latter released as the first single). In August 2012, the music video was released for "Hell & Back".
The album's fifth single, "Is It You" was released on September 6, 2012. The song was produced by The Amazinz. On the date of September 6, 2012, the music video was released for "Is It You".
The album's sixth and final single, "Roll Out" was released on September 12, 2012, accompanied by the music video. The song was produced by The Arsenals.
Commercial performance
In July 2012, according to iTunes, Up & Away brakes the sales reaching for the top five on the Hip-Hop albums, before the album became the top ten. The album debuted at number 20 on the US Billboard 200, with first-week sales of 20,000 copies in the United States.[2] Since then, the album has sold 29,000 copies in the United States.[3] On October 18, 2012, the album has sold 45,000 copies in the United States.
