Toyama Station (富山駅 Toyama-eki?) is a railway station in Toyama, Toyama, Japan, operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West). It is the biggest terminal station in Toyama. Dentetsu-Toyama Station (電鉄富山駅 Dentetsu-Toyama-eki?), the terminal of the local Toyama Chihō Railway is next to the JR Toyama Station.

History
Toyama Station opened on 20 March 1899.[2] With the privatization of JNR on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR West.[2]
From 14 March 2015, the station was served by the high-speed Hokuriku Shinkansen following the opening of the extension from Nagano to Kanazawa, providing direct services between Tokyo and Kanazawa.[3]
