"Telemiscommunications" is a song by Canadian electronic music producer deadmau5 and English singer/songwriter Imogen Heap. It is the fifth single from deadmau5's sixth studio album Album Title Goes Here. The song is also the seventh single from Imogen Heap's fourth studio album Sparks.

Background

An early version of the song, originally a demo titled "Community Nap", was uploaded to Zimmerman's official YouTube channel on 8 May 2007. It originally featured lyrics from "Sleepless", another song that was later released on Album Title Goes Here. On April 22, 2012, Zimmerman previewed the song with vocals from Heap.[2]

Release

On September 25, 2012, "Telemiscommunications" appeared as the thirteenth track on the 2012 album "Album Title Goes Here". It was released with four remixes as a remix EP on March 12, 2013 through Zimmerman's label mau5trap.[3]

Music video

A music video was uploaded to Zimmerman's YouTube account along with the release of the remix EP on March 12, 2013. It featured animated clips submitted by various animators, as part of a contest beginning in late 2012.[4]
