TechKnow was a 30 minute program based on technology and science shown on Al Jazeera America and internationally on Al Jazeera English. The show showcased bright spots and innovations in the world of science and technology in the United States and how they are changing lives. Segments were recorded in the field by a group of young, tech-savvy contributors with diverse backgrounds in science and technology. The show was hosted by Phil Torres and co-hosted depending on the episode by Cara Santa Maria, Kosta Grammatis and others. All the hosts had backgrounds in science and technology. TechKnow was co-created by Executive Producers Steve Lange and Roland Woerner.
The main setting for the show was Republic Of Pie in North Hollywood, California.

TechKnow was shown on Al Jazeera America at 6:30pm eastern time on Saturday with repeats throughout the week. Internationally, the show was shown on Al Jazeera English, making TechKnow the first Al Jazeera America originated show to be shown on Al Jazeera English and the second Al Jazeera America produced show after Fault Lines which Al Jazeera America assumed control of in 2013.
