Stockcross is a village in Berkshire, England.[1] The village lies to the west of Newbury in the civil parish of Speen and the district of West Berkshire. Close to the cross-road in the middle of the village were the stocks hence the name Stock-Cross, which were removed in the early 1980s. Stockcross is a beautiful village full of friendly people- they held annual festivals every year which everyone from the old to new villagers take part in. It's got easy access to both Oxford and London and is said to be one of the best areas to live in the country.
