Steven Russell Jordan (born January 10, 1961) is a former American football tight end who played his entire career with the Minnesota Vikings (1982 through 1994). He played college football at Brown.
Jordan's son Cameron is currently a defensive end for the New Orleans Saints.
Professional career
Jordan was selected to six consecutive Pro Bowls from 1986 through 1991 and finished his NFL career with 498 receptions for 6,307 yards and 28 touchdowns.
He was featured playing football in a WWE vignette with professional wrestler Mr. Perfect (Curt Hennig).
Post-football career
Jordan now works as a civil engineer.
Personal life
His son Cameron played defensive end for the California Golden Bears. He was drafted as the 24th overall selection by the New Orleans Saints in the 2011 NFL Draft.
