Sord Computer Corporation was a Japanese electronics company, founded in 1970 by the entrepreneur Takayoshi Shiina.[2]
History
In the 1980s, Sord produced a number of business-focused computers, including:
Sord also produced 8-bit home computers such as the Sord M5).
In 1985, Sord began to work with Toshiba Corporation and in 1999 became a wholly owned subsidiary renamed as Toshiba Personal Computer System Corporation (TOPS for short).[4]
