Sonata in G major for two flutes and basso continuo by J. S. Bach (BWV 1039) is a sonata in four movements:

  • Adagio
  • Allegro ma non presto
  • Adagio e piano
  • Presto

This sonata is one of the few Bach trio-sonatas that can be genuinely credited to Johann Sebastian. It was written during the Weimar period of 1708–1717. Later this sonata was re-scored by Bach for gamba and continuo.[1]
