Sonata in G major for two flutes and basso continuo by J. S. Bach (BWV 1039) is a sonata in four movements:
- Adagio
- Allegro ma non presto
- Adagio e piano
- Presto
This sonata is one of the few Bach trio-sonatas that can be genuinely credited to Johann Sebastian. It was written during the Weimar period of 1708–1717. Later this sonata was re-scored by Bach for gamba and continuo.[1]
