Somerset is a former village in south-central Manitoba, Canada. It is located within the Municipality of Lorne. The community had a 2006 census population of 432 inhabitants, a decline of 5.88% from 459 during the 2001 census. This town contains a clinic, gas station, restaurant, 2 churches, a drive-inn, a hotel, a grain elevator and a high school. There are many things to do in this small town such as the curling rink, skating rink and the library. Somerset is also home to the large concrete plant, Boulet Brothers Concrete.
