The Slovenian Supercup (Slovene: Slovenski superpokal) is an annually contested football match between the football club that has won the Slovenian PrvaLiga and the club that has won the Slovenian Cup. Until 2007, the match was held only occasionally. However, since 2007 it has become an annual event held in July and is considered as the start of the new season. The match is traditionally held on the home ground of the league champions of the previous season. The competition is currently named Superpokal Telekom Slovenije due to sponsorship reasons.
