Shristi Shrestha (Nepali: सृष्टी श्रेष्ठAudio file "Shristi Shrestha.ogg" not found, born in Narayangarh, Chitwan) is a Nepali actress, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was Miss Nepal 2012.[1] Shrestha won the coveted title, beating 16 other contestants.[2] She represented Nepal in Miss World 2012 which was held on August 18, 2012 in Inner Mongolia, China.

Miss Nepal
Shristi represented her hometown of Chitwan during Miss Nepal 2012 beauty pageant as Miss Chitwan 2012. She went on to win the main title of Miss Nepal World 2012 alongside, Miss Confidence title.
She is the first Miss Nepal to reach to the quarter finals (20th Place) of the Miss World. Although she finished 20th in the entire Miss World pageant, she was able to achieve the 8th position in Beach Beauty and was one of the top 10 contestants for the Multimedia Award. She also won the 'Public Choice award' during the Miss world pageant.[3][4][5] She has been placed as Top 10 Dancers in Miss World 2012.
Career
Shristi Shrestha also has played in a music video of unplugged version of song 'Kabhi jo baadal barse' from 2013 Bollywood movie Jackpot. This was her first debut to her career in Bollywood. Besides that, she has appeared in several other Nepali songs, one of her very recent songs is Sadhai Sadhai by Devika Bandana.
She is debuting to Nepali film industry with Gajalu opposite Anmol K.C. She debuted her theatre career with the role of 'Ophelia' in Shakespeare 'Hamlet', which ran for a month in the 'Theatre Village' in Kathmandu. The play was organised by the British council and was directed by Gregory Thomson, a well known name in the theatre scene of Shakespear plays in London.
