Richard Gay (born 9 March 1969 ) is an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1980s, '90s, and 2000s, playing at representative level for England, and at club level for Hull, St. George Dragons, and Castleford Tigers, as a Fullback, or Wing, i.e. number 1, or, 2 or 5.

International honours
Richard Gay won caps for England while at Hull in 1995 against Wales, and France.[1]
Premiership final appearances
Richard Gay played Fullback and scored a try in Hull's 14-4 victory over Widnes in the Premiership final during the 1990–91 season at Old Trafford, Manchester on Sunday 12 May 1991.[2]
Outside of rugby league
Richard Gay now works as a Physical education teacher. He covers for ill teachers. He was at Sydney Smith School in Anlaby, Kingston upon Hull.
