Geography

Demographics
As of 2001[update] India census,[2] Rehli had a population of 25,913. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Rehli has an average literacy rate of 75%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 73%, and female literacy is 57%. In Rehli, 16% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Rangir
A village situated 10 miles from Rehli and 21 miles from Sagar on Sagar Rehli Road on the bank of the Dahar river. It was site of an engagement between Chatrasak Bundela and Khaliq, the Mugal Fauzdar of Damoni. On the adjoining Hill stands a temple of Harsiddi Devi in whose honour fairs are held in the months of Asvina and Chaitra.
The Chaitra fair is an important one and large number of people visit the temple. The image of the goddess is held in great veneration and people believe that she changes her form thrice every day, as a child at dawn, a young girl at mid day and an old woman in the evening. Gauridant has oldest rock shelter formation and it lies on ancient Indian route of Patliputra and Sanchi .This place is First site in Bundelkhand region having an old Buddist Monestary dated backed to Gupta era and also having first Buddhist Stupa of region,Gauridant is having very exotic Markaandey caves complex and with rock shelter paintings .This place is for natural lovers as this has most exotic sunrise and sunset views of Nauradehi reserve. Baleh
Situated in 23 degree 35 N and 79 degree 10 E it is a village 36 miles south-east of Sagar and 11 miles from Rehli with which it is connected by a road. A record found here mention Palvana or Yalavana Pattala and refers to a Chandika temple. Formerly the estate of Baleh consisting of 53 villages belong to a gond family of Patehra, which being driven out of Deori, settled here in 1747.
