"Rebels Are We" is a song by American R&B band Chic from their 1980 album Real People. It was the first single from this album. Historically, the single represents the start of the decline of Chic's chart success; It failed to enter both the U.K. pop charts and the U.S. Billboard pop chart top 40 (peaking at #61). However, the track has attracted critical praise over the years as well as inclusion in later albums such as The Very Best of Chic.
