  • In April 2014, work is to start on a railway extension from the port of Cotonou in Benin. [11] [12]

2015

  • In 2015, construction started on an extension of the line to Niger, including an upgrade of the existing line within Benin.
  • In 2015, rehabilitation of the East-West (Blue) line starter. [13]
