It is found in Angola, the southern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, northern Zambia, Zimbabwe, and western Mozambique.[2] The habitat consists of Brachystegia woodland and savanna.
