Petrohué River (Spanish pronunciation: [petɾoˈwe]) is a Chilean river located in the Los Lagos Region of Chile. It originates from Todos los Santos Lake in the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. At its origin are founded the Petrohué Waterfalls.
Sport Fishing
The Petrohue river is considered, both nationally and internationally, to be one of the best rivers for recreational fishing in the region[according to whom?] given the great diversity of species that can be found here and its optimal conditions for wade fishing and float-tubes fishing.[citation needed] The fishing season begins on November and ends in May. Every Year hundreds of people from around the world congregate at the river Petrohué to enjoy the fishing experience there.
