Perinjanam is a village in Thrissur district in the state of Kerala, India.[1] It is one of the smallest villages in Kerala. The coastal village is just half a kilometer wide. Etymology
The name of the village is believed to be originated from the Tamil word Periya Njanamullavarude Nadu (People with good knowledge). However, there is no historical evidence to prove this claim. History
