Paul Longden (born 28 September 1962) is a former English footballer who played in the Football League for Barnsley and Scunthorpe United. Paul is scunthorpes second longest serving player, making 455 appearances for the club as a fullback mostly in the role of leftback, his hard approach to the game was noticed by many, described by Graham Alexander as the 'hardest footballer, who's tough as nails'
