Parkway East Hospital (Chinese: 百汇东岸医院), was formerly known as East Shore Hospital (Chinese: 东海岸医院). It is now a 106-bed private healthcare facility located in Telok Kurau, Singapore.
This boutique hospital provides general and acute care, and has a comprehensive range of clinical specialties and sub-specialties, including Obstetrics & Gynaecology, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) and Ophthalmology. Public Programmes
Medical High School
This is medical attachment programme for students 15 to 18 years old. Conducted by professional doctors and nurses over 3 weekends, students get to learn about medical specialties like gynaecology and orthopaedics. The participants take on roles like surgeons and scrub nurses in a real-life operating theatre, and learn to do laparoscopic surgery under the direction of specialist doctors.
Doctor for a Day
A fun day at the hospital for kids 5 to 10 years old, this is a short 90-minute session conducted by doctors and nurses at the hospital. The children are introduced to hand-washing techniques, bandage cuts and treat sprains and even changing diapers for babies.
