Othello Khanh

Othello Khanh (born October 22, 1964 in Paris, France) is a French-Vietnamese film director, producer and screenwriter. Khanh began his career in France in the early 1980s, Khanh[1][2] directing television programmes and advertisements.

Following his desire to become more involved in 'meaningful' films, in 1993 he moved to Southern California and then Mexico where he independently produced and directed [3] a documentary film about the Zapatista Army of National Liberation uprising in Southern Mexico.

In 1995, Khanh returned to his roots in Vietnam where he is the founder of the one-stop-shop production company Créa TV, which focuses on commercial and production services, content development, studio and post-production rentals.[4] Khanh has made steps towards entering the Vietnamese feature film industry.[5]

Khanh wrote, produced and directed the feature film Saigon Eclipse.[6][7][8]

In 2011 Khanh came back to Mexico where he wrote, produced and directed "Florence Cassez, l'ultime recours" broadcast on French public network France 5. This 52 minutes documentary explores new leads proving the innocence of French woman Florence Cassez sentenced to 60 years prison in Mexico.
