Operation Sabre was an Australian military operation in World War Two. It involved cutting the Japanese submarine communications cable linking Saigon and Singapore by Sub-Lieutenant Ken Briggs,[1] operating from a midget submarine in the Saigon River delta on 31 July 1945.[2][3]
