The National Basketball Association (NBA) Africa Game 2017 is an exhibition basketball game that will be played on August 5, 2017 in the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg, South Africa. It will be the second NBA game to take place on the continent of Africa and the first one since the NBA Africa Game 2015. The teams involved will be Team Africa, featuring NBA players and alumni that were born in or had parents born in Africa, and Team World, featuring NBA players from the rest of the world. [1]

Rosters

  • CAP^ Deng and Sefolosha are the captains for Team Africa.[1]
  • CAP^ Nowitzki and Walker are the captains for Team World.[1]
  • INJ^ Embiid will not play because of injury.[2]
