Biography
Myrath (ميراث, meaning legacy), a metal band from Tunis, Tunisia, started out as a teenage cover band formed in 2001 by guitarist Malek Ben Arbia (who was 13 years old at the time).[1] Over the next few years the band would develop their style towards progressive metal. Myrath have now performed at a couple of festivals as well. The band have given their music the label of "Oriental Metal".
Their first album Hope was released in September 2007, and their second, Desert Call, in January 2010. Myrath filmed their first music video for the song Merciless Times from their third release Tales of the Sands.
In 2015, Myrath announced an upcoming album in 2016, and launched an indiegogo campaign for fans to support the shoot of their new outstanding video clip prepared with highest graphics tech and videography to feature a quality like game of thrones. The band so far has released an exciting trailer under the name "Believer", which is expected to be the title of this music video's song, and have successfully reached over 80% of their campaign goal in only one month.
