Mozammbican people in the United Kingdom includes British citizens and non-citizen immigrants and expatriates of Mozambican descent in the United Kingdom.

Demographics

The 2001 Census recorded 3,533 Mozambican-born people residing in the UK.[1] According to the 2011 UK Census, there were 5,734 Mozambican-born residents in England, 59 in Wales,[2] 97 in Scotland,[3] and 36 in Northern Ireland.[4] Of this total of 5,926 Mozambican-born residents, 2,482 lived in Greater London, 1,372 in the East Midlands and 571 in South East England.[2]

The cities with the most Mozambique-born residents in the UK are London (2,482), Leicester (1,184), Manchester (56), Birmingham (52) and Swindon (43).[2]
