Miss Russia is a national Beauty pageant in Russia.

History
The pageant has been running since 1992, however there was no Miss Russia 1994,[citation needed] 2000[1] or 2008.
Since 2007, the winner of Miss Russia represents her country in both Miss World and Miss Universe. However, if she's unable to participate, a runner-up is sent instead.
Russia has won three major international titles: Miss World 1992, Miss Universe 2002, who was later dethroned, and Miss World 2008.

Since 1994 Russia debut at Miss Universe pageant. Traditionally the winner of Miss Russia represents her country at Miss Universe. On occasion, when the winner does not qualify (due to age) for either contest, a runner-up is sent. Before using Russia, the country was used USSR or Soviet Union at the Miss Universe pageant. In 2002 Russia won the title of Miss Universe 2002 but dethroned from the title.

^ Oksana Fedorova originally won the title of Miss Universe 2002. However she later resigned and first runner-up Justine Pasek of Panama took over the title and became Miss Universe 2002.

Since 1992 Russia traditionally competes at major International pageants. The winner represents their country at the Miss World (a separate entity elect winners for Miss World Prior Miss Russia) and a runner up is sent to Miss International. On occasion, when the winner does not qualify (due to age) for either contest, a contestant is sent. Before Miss Russia Organization, in 1995 - 2006 Krasa Rossii sent the winner to the Miss World pageant.
