This is an incomplete list of equipment of the Norwegian Army currently in service. This list is indicative only, as strict comparisons cannot accurately be made.

Armoured vehicles

Main battle tank (MBT)

Infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) / Multi-Role

CV90  Sweden 144 (ordered) In service since 1999 after the Norwegian Army acquired 104 CV9030N. 17 of these were later upgraded with air-conditioning, additional mine protection and rear-view cameras, and were designated CV9030NF1.

In June 2012, a deal was signed with BAE Systems Hägglunds and Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace for the acquisition of 144 new/upgraded vehicles, including 74 infantry fighting, 21 reconnaissance, 15 command, 16 engineering, 16 multi-role and two driver training vehicles. The upgraded vehicles will be delivered between 2015-2017.[7][8]

Armoured personnel carrier (APC)

Today, they fill various support roles such as armored ambulance, mortar carrier, engineer vehicle, and command vehicle. 288 M113s have also been upgraded ("Project 5026"),[9] including at least 97 much improved M113F3s.[10] Furthermore, a new variant, M113F4, has been developed, and will soon enter production (18 on order, with more on option).[11]

Sisu XA-185, XA-186 and XA-203N  Finland 75 In service since the early 90s. Many of them currently serve as armored ambulances.
Fuchs 1A8  Germany 6[12] CBRN reconnaissance vehicles.

Infantry mobility vehicle (IMV)

Armored recovery vehicle (ARV)

Artillery

Rocket artillery (MLRS)

M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System  United States 12 (mothballed)[19] Taken out of active service in 2005, and have been sitting in storage since then. In 2014, a decision was made to scrap the M270s, but it was halted before it could be carried out. The system's future is currently under reevaluation.[20][21]

Self propelled gun (SPG)

Air defence system

The first Norwegian order includes 103 units of HX2 vehicles (of which 95 are 8x8 and 8 are 10x10). A full 35 of these vehicles will be supplied with the Rheinmetall Integrated Armoured Cabin (IAC).[25]

TGS range of trucks 17 (on order)[25] Commercial vehicles, intended for use on the bases and airfields of the Air Force.[25]
