Melt Bar and Grilled
Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. Melt Bar and Grilled is a restaurant with seven main locations in Ohio that specializes in creative grilled cheese sandwiches.[1] The restaurant is owned and operated by Matt Fish, who is also the executive chef.[2]
Melt has enjoyed notoriety both locally and nationally. Matt Fish's creations and the popular Cleveland restaurant have been featured in USA Today; Esquire Magazine, as one of the best sandwiches in America; and in National Culinary Review.
In 2010 Melt was featured on two national food-themed television shows: The Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives with Guy Fieri, which aired February 8, 2010; The Travel Channel's Man v. Food with Adam Richman, which aired June 22, 2010. It's been featured in Cheese Paradise on the Travel channel, which aired in 2013.
In 2011 Melt was also featured on the Food Network show "The Best Thing I Ever Ate", in the messy food themed episode for their "Godfather" lasagna grilled cheese sandwich.
Matt Fish was also called one of Cleveland's Most Interesting People of 2010.

- Columbus, opened in December 2014, at 4206 Worth Avenue.
- Akron, opened in March 2016, at 3921 Medina Road.
In addition to its seven main locations, a scaled-down version of the restaurant called Melt University is located in the Tinkham Veale University Center on Case Western Reserve University's campus in Cleveland, opened in August 2014. Another scaled-down location is Melt Ballpark, located at Progressive Field, home of the Cleveland Indians and opened in April 2015.
