Mamaqucha (Quechua mama mother / madam, qucha lake, mama qucha ocean,[2] Mama Qucha, a figure of the Inca mythology, hispanicized spelling Mamacocha) is a lake in Peru located in the Cajamarca Region, Celendín Province, Huasmin District.[3] Mamaqucha lies north of the lake Mishaqucha Chico (Mishacocha Chico).
