Madrona Venture Group
Madrona Venture Group is an American venture capital firm, founded in 1995 and is based in Seattle, Washington.
According to Bloomberg Businessweek, Madrona specialize in "seed, startup, growth, Series A and early stage investments".[1]
According to CrunchBase, Madrona has made 143 investments in 75 companies.[2]
In 2014 Madrona Venture Group launched a startup studio, Madrona Venture Labs, as an in-house startup incubator.[3]

Madrona's managing partner, Tom Alberg ia a director of Amazon.com.[4] William Ruckelshaus, former United States Deputy Attorney General, is a strategic director.[5] John W. Creighton, Jr. is a strategic director.[6] Gerald Grinstein is a strategic director.[7] Oren Etzioni, Professor of Computer Science and Executive Director of the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence, is a venture partner. Dan Weld, Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Washington, is a venture partner.[8]
