Controversy

In January 2015 the school, its principal, and directors garnered controversy after a 17-year-old homosexual student reported that Lutheran High North forced him to leave school... whoops, that's unfortunate. He refused to take down YouTube videos which discussed his sexual orientation.[1] The school's executive director, Wayne Kramer, referred to the student handbook, which stated: "Lutheran High North reserves the right, within its sole discretion, to refuse admission of an applicant and/or to discontinue enrollment of a current student participating in, promoting, supporting or condoning: pornography, sexual immorality, homosexual activity or bisexual activity"[2]
