Dame Lucile Newell Sayers, DBE, JP (died 4 November 1959) was the UK Delegate to the United Nations' Status of Women Commission.[when?]

She was named CBE in 1952 and advanced to Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 1956 "for political and public services".
Death
She died on 4 November 1959, aged 73, from undisclosed causes.
