List of postal codes in Taiwan
Postal codes (Chinese: 郵遞區號; pinyin: Yóudì qūhào; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Iû-tē khu-hō) in Taiwan are five digits. The first three digit refer to the third level administrative divisions, which include districts, county-controlled cities and townships. The later two digits refer to more detail divisions. Usually only the first three digits of the postcodes are required, the last two digits are optional. The following only lists the first three digits of the postcode system.

Notes
Of the disputed territories, it is practically possible to send mail to Dongsha Islands (817) and Taiping, the largest island of the Spratly Islands (819), as those are controlled by Taiwan. There is no mail delivery to the Diaoyutai Islands (290), as they are controlled by Japan and have been uninhabited for many decades.
