Lerentee McCray (born August 26, 1990)[1] is an American football linebacker for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Florida, and was signed by the Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2013.

Early years

McCray attended Dunnellon High school.[2] He participated in the U.S. Army All-American Game.[2] He was a Class 3A first-team all-state selection as linebacker as a senior.[2] McCray was chosen for the Florida All-Combine team in Jacksonville, and also played in the North/South All-Star Game.[2] He was named to the Florida All-Combine team in Jacksonville, Florida.[2] In his junior season, McCray recorded 97 tackles and 11 sacks.[2] McCray recorded 118 tackles and nine sacks his senior season while rushing for over 500 yards and scoring 11 touchdowns.[2] McCray was four-star prospect and was ranked as the 10th best outside linebacker nationally by Rivals.com.[2]

College

McCray was named to 2012 Butkus Award Preseason Watch List and selected to Phil Steele’s 2012 Midseason All-SEC second team in his Senior season at the university of Florida.[2] 2012 All- SEC second team selection in senior season at University of Florida

Professional career

On April 27, 2013, McCray signed with the Denver Broncos as a highest paid undrafted free agent.[3]

On February 7, 2016, McCray won his first Super Bowl after the Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers 24-10 in Super Bowl 50.

On April 18, 2016, McCray joined the Green Bay Packers as a free agent.
