A lemniscus (Greek for ribbon or band[1]) is an anatomic term. It can refer to:
- In anatomy, a part of the brain, such as the medial lemniscus or lateral lemniscus.
lemniscus : is a bundle of secondary sensory fibers within the brain stem which terminates in specific relay nuclei of the diencephalon
